ENGINE PANEL.

Engine panel The primary engine parameters are indicated on this panel. The panel is an electronic flat panel display which use Light Emitting Diodes (LED) and discrete lights for presentation. An integrated brightness control adjusts the intensity of the LED segment for maximum readability under all ambient light conditions.
1. EPR LIMIT readout.
Indicates EPR limit as selected on the thrust rating panel and calculated by the digital flight guidance computer.
2. REVERSE THRUST lights.
3. EPR indicator.
Indicates Engine Pressure Ratio (EPR). Actual EPR is indicated by the single pointer and by digits with .01 EPR increments. The EPR limit is indicated by the "EPR reference bug" (double pointer).
4. N1 indicator.
Indicates low pressure compressor speed in % rpm. The value is indicated by the pointer and by digits with 1% increment. If max N1 is exceeded the digital readout will flash.
5.EGT.
Indicates exhaust gas temperature at fourth turbine stage in °C. The temperature is indicated by the pointer and digits with 1° increments. If max EGT is exceeded the digit readout will flash.
6. N2 indicator.
Indicates high pressure compressor speed in % rpm. The value is indicated by the pointer and by digits with 1% increment. If max N1 is exceeded the digital readout will flash.
7.MAN EPR knob.
Backup system. When the knob is pulled, it is possible to set the desired EPR reference manually. This will be displayed by digits below the EPR LIMIT readout. When the knob is in normal (in) position, the CMB EPR reference readout will be blank.
8. FUEL FLOW/USED knob.
When pushed, the FUEL FLOW/USED readout will display fuel used in kg x 10 together with the annunciator displaying FUEL USED for 10 seconds.
9. FUEL USED RESET button.
When pushed, FUEL FLOW/USED readouts will indicate FUEL USED for approximately 2 seconds and reset to zero.
