- 2. PILOT SEAT HEATING switches.

- 3. GROUND SERVICE electrical panel.
- Used to connect APU or EXT PWR to the GROUND SERVICE BUS only, with MAIN BATT
switch in OFF.
- 4. AUDIO SELECTOR PANEL.
- No 3 VHF COM. Not in use today, this radio is used by the ACAR system.
- 5. OVERHEAD CIRCUIT BRAKER panel.
- The most essential emergency buses. EMERGENCY AC and DC bus and BATT DIRECT
and BATT bus.
- 6. EMERGENCY FLOOD LIGHT.
- Comes on with emergency power.
- 7. GPWS SPEAKER.
- 8. PRESSURE GAUGE.
- Indicating crew oxygen system regulated pressure.
- 9. MECH CALL button.
- When pushed, a horn in the noose wheel well will sound to alert the
ground crew.
- 10. FLIGHT RECORDER TEST switch.
- GND TEST. - When guard is lifted and the switch is set to this position,
the recording system starts to operate. Used to insert data during preflight.
- NORM. - Recorder will operate when conditions for the interlock removal
are met.
- 11. LOOP LIGHT panel.
- 12. ELT (Emergency Locator Transmitter) panel.
- Guarded switch. Possible to manually activate or to reset an inadvertently
activated ELT. The ELT will automatically transmit at a 6.0 g impact along
the flight axis of the aircraft.
- 13. EVAC SIGNAL switch.
- OFF - Disarms evacuation command system. Turns off aural warning, if on.
- ARM - Evacuation command system armed.
- 14. EVACUATION COMMAND switch.
- OFF - Aural warning off (unless activated from cabin).
- COMMAND - Turns on aural warning if EVAC SIGNAL switch at ARM.
