SYSTEM PANEL.
The panel is an electronic flat panel display which use Light Emitting Diodes (LED) and
discrete lights for presentation. An integrated brightness control adjusts
the intensity of the LED segment for maximum readability under all ambient
light conditions.
- 1. RAT (Ram Air Temperature) readout.
- Approximately the same as TAT (Total Air Temperature).
- 2. FUEL TEMP readout.
- Indicates temperature of fuel downstream of fuel heater.
- 3. OIL PRESS readout.
- Indicates oil pressure downstream of main oil filter. If oil pressure
exceeds 56 psi, digits will start to flash. OIL PRESS low caution light
(amber) comes on when oil pressure is in the 35 to 40 psi range. OIL PRESS
low warning light(red) comes on if oil pressure is below 35 psi.
- 4. OIL TEMP readout.
- Indicates temperature downstream of fuel/oil cooler. OIL TEMP high
caution light (amber) comes on when the oil temperature is in the 135°
C to 165°C 15 minutes transient range.
- 5. OIL QUANTITY readout.
- Indicates quantity of usable oil in tank.
- 6. HYDRAULIC PRESS readout.
- Indicates system hydraulic pressure. PRESS LOW and TEMP HIGH warnings are
found on the overhead annunciator.
- 7. HYD QTY readout.
- Indicates quantity of hydraulic fluid in reservoir. LIMIT lights
(amber) above the readout will come on to indicate that the quantity has
decreased below limit.
- 8. FLAP POSITION indicator.
- Indicates position of left/right outboard flap.
- 9. SLAT advisory T/O blue light.
- .Indicates FLAP/SLAT handle and slats are in takeoff range.
- 10. SLAT advisory DISAG amber light.
- Indicates left and right wing slats position do not agree with each
other and/or with handle position.
- 11. SLAT advisory AUTO blue light.
- Indicates slats have automatically extended from mid to extend position
by stall warning system.
- 12. SLAT advisory LAND green light.
- Indicates FLAP/SLAT handle is set at 28° or 40° of flap and
slats are fully extended.
System panel during cruise FL340 M.76 approximately 1 hour 30 minutes
after takeoff.
Fuel well below 0° and Hydraulic Pumps set to LOW, approximately 1500psi
pressure, which will be until "descend checklist."
