left side instrument

    1. MACH/IAS INDICATOR.
    2. BELOW G/S light and reset switch.
    Light comes on to indicate a penetration of glide slope alert envelope during an ILS approach.
    3. TERRAIN warning light.
    Light comes on to indicate penetration of warning envelopes in the GPWS system.
    4. PFD (Primary Flight Display).
    5. FMA (Flight Mode Annunciator)..
    6. BRAKE PRESSURE GAUGE.
    Indicates L/R brake system hydraulic pressure
    7. FD(Flight Director) LIGHT.
    Comes on to indicate that the FD CMD selector on the overhead panel is out of its NORM position.
    8. DIMMING PANEL..
    9. PRIMARY ALTIMETER..
    10. VSI (Vertical Speed Instrument)..
    11. NAVIGATION DISPLAY.
    12. CRIUSE TRIM placard.
    The settings of rudder and aileron trim knobs from latest test flight.
    13. COMPASS INDICATOR RMI.
    Shows direction to VORI and VORII. On A/C with IRS also DME
    14. DIGITAL CLOCK.
    15. FLOOR LIGHT switch.
    Will give light on the pedals below the panel. Used to search for foreign objects on the floor.
    16. STATIC AIR SELECTOR.
    Selects NORM or ALT static air pressure source to the CADC (Central Air Data Computer).
    17. LIGHT SWITCHES for left pilot instruments.
    18. CARGO FIRE/SMOKE DETECTOR LOOP light.
    RED upper part comes on when cargo fire is detected. AMBER lower light comes on when a fire detector loop fault is detected.
    19. TERR SYSTEM OVRD/INOP switch/light.
    A combination of a light (INOP) that indicates that the terrain warning system is inoperative. When the light is pressed it function as an on/off switch to the terrain warning system. The light is covered by a hinged transparent guard.
    20. TERR/WXR switch.
    Provides manual selection/deselection of the EGPWS terrain display.
    21. MAG/TRU ANNUNCIATOR/SWITCH.
    MAG - all compass cards referenced to magnetic north. TRU - ND compass card is referenced to true north.
